This quantitative ELISA kit can analyze 54 samples for ergot alkaloids in urine containing 0-100 ppb. Note: A creatinine analysis is important to interpret the data. See our Phytoscreen creatinine kit.
This quantitative ELISA kit can analyze 54 samples for ergot alkaloids in plant tissues containing 0 to 4 ppm. Samples with higher alkaloid concentration can be diluted for analysis.
This first and simple colorimetric kit utilizes the microplate format typical of ELISA to analyze up to 54 samples. It can be analyzed on any microplate reader capable of reading at a wavelength of 490-510 nm.
You submit seeds. We grow the tillers in our green house for 6 weeks, then test for viable endophytes.

Two Ways to Test for Ergot Alkaloids and Endophytes
Agrinostics supports two ways of working. You can send a sample to our laboratory and receive an analysis report, or you can run the test yourself in your own lab with a Phytoscreen kit. Everything in this shop belongs to one of those two groups.
The patented Phytoscreen immunochemical kits let a laboratory screen its own samples in house. The immunoblot kits test 100 samples at a time for endophyte presence in seed and in field tillers. The ELISA kits cover tiller ergot alkaloids, a qualitative test that analyzes 96 tillers, and quantitative measurement of ergot alkaloids in plant tissue and in urine, each reading up to 54 samples. Kits are manufactured when you order them, carry a shelf life of six months when stored as directed, and are stamped with an expiration date. Endophyte detection kits come with a positive and a negative control to score your samples against.
Sample Types Covered
Between the two groups the shop covers field tillers, greenhouse grow-out tillers, seed, plant tissue, hay and feed, and animal urine. Urine ergot alkaloid results are read together with a creatinine analysis, which is available both as a Phytoscreen urine creatinine kit and as a urine creatinine laboratory analysis. Agrinostics works with everyone from a homeowner or small farmer with a single sample through to a seed company submitting many, and contract services are available for volume business.
